First the history of Phil and Susanne the award winning tattoo artists at Arctic Tattoo.

Phil started his career in Isle of Man with Skin Symbolz Tattoo Studio. He has left his Tattoo legacy there in form of his first apprentice, Simon Williams. Simon now owns Manx Tattoo.

Before we took the long journey to the far north, we ran two tattoo studios in Tenerife, Canary Islands, and these two studios were mostly tourist tattooing. We wanted a more stable client base, so we decided to move to Northern Norway. But the studio in Tenerife has not vanished from the face of the earth, Phil's second apprentice; Chris "The German Englishman" took over the studios. You will never meet a nicer guy.

Phil has been tattooing for over 15 years, and he has won over 40 awards for tattooing both in the UK and the USA and loves to do custom made tattoos for each customer.
Phil runs the Arctic Tattoo studios in close partnership with his girlfriend, best friend, life partner and soon to be wife; Susanne. Susanne has now been tattooing for about 4 years, and has grown to be a very good and careful tattooist. She is also a perfectionist, so with Susanne you can expect only the best.

We also regularly have guest artist from all over the world coming to visit us.
